Bodmin Town Band (John Maines) West

Last band of the section and it’s another one to start well and the horn sound is terrific. Some tuning issues in the first allegro but the overall picture is tidy and secure as it eases nicely into the cadenzas. Terrific trombone and his colleagues follow in similar vein – possibly the finest cadenzas of the day overall. Final section seems to tire a bit, but this has been very good overall.
